The PMCA is committed to quality craftsmanship.

- Review and develop positions on legislation and regulations affecting its member contractors.
- To provide opportunity for safety training/education.
- To promote drug testing and background checks for its membership.
- To inform its members of activities germane to the industry.
- Provide a timely newsletter for both members and consumers.
PMCA History
The first organized association was started in the early 1950’s to better the industry of the plumbing, heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration contractors in the Will County region. The original name of the group was the Plumbing, Heating, Piping, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Contractors of Will and Grundy Counties. Some of the original founders of the group included Al Naal Sr. (Naal Plumbing and Heating), Rudy Mahalik Sr. (PDM Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning) and Harold Anderson (Johansen & Anderson Inc.). These founding fathers knew that collaboration would increase each others growth of their company’s. Their combined efforts also focused on advanced training for their people, which in the end resulted in better heating, cooling and plumbing services for the residents and contractors of our communities.
